Starting on Monday 1st April, this super-special Gudetama menu features an eggstra-ordinary set menu, including a ramen dish, boa bun, dessert, a drink, and a limited edition Shoryu X Creighton’s Gudetama chocolate bar, handmade in the UK by a mother-daughter duo, all for only £24.
The egg-citing collaboration with Gudetama, a friend of Hello Kitty, is a match made in ramen heaven, as the lazy egg’s character is best known for his laid-back attitude to life, something Shoryu encourages for their diners.
For starters, feast on yellow Gudetama coloured Shoryu Buns – choose from Char Siu BBQ Pork Belly, Chicken Karaage or Pumpkin Croquette for the perfect start marked by an added Gudetama flag!
Move through to the mains and choose from three perfect bowls of ramen – the signature Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu ramen with added fried shallot and Gudetama egg, Miso Wafu Chicken with unique tonyu soy milk, white miso, shiitake mushroom & konbu soy broth, chicken karaage and Gudetama egg.
And for the veggies out there, enjoy the White Natural ramen with a flavour explosion of miso, konbu & shiitake broth, garnished with a Gudetama egg on the side.
Sweet temptations come in the form of indulgent Mochi Ice Cream: choose from the Mini Yuzu, Matcha or Salted Caramel Chocolate flavours, all served in a Gudetama cup.
Wash down the cracking food menu with a choice of three refreshing drinks: Mango Iced Oolong Tea, Calpico, a refreshing milk-based soft drink, or Mojito Loves Calpico, mixed with mint & lime – all served in a reusable Gudetama plastic cup. The perfect way to round things off!
If that wasn’t enough, anyone trying the Gudetama menu at the Manchester restaurant to can take part in a special competition across Shoryu’s social media. Guests will be invited to take a selfie with Gudetama and post on social with the hashtag #shoryugudetama, with 4 winners bagging a huge Gudetama plush toy and Creighton’s chocolate bundle.
