A spooky halloween celebration in Piccadilly Gardens

To celebrate the re opening of Manchester Museum’s Ancient Worlds Galleries the Museum has joined forces with Cityco and Piccadilly Partnership to bring you spine-chilling The Mummy Walk….
Join us in Piccadilly Gardens and learn some macabre moves – when our experts will teach you a special scary dance.
Throughout the afternoon there’ll be a chance to join in “Mummy dance” and costume workshops, make a scary “Mummy lantern” and use mysterious detective skills to examine archaeological objects from the Museum Ancient Worlds Galleries.
Artist Sophie Tyrrell will help you with mask making , musician Danny Henry and The Circus House will be there to entertain you.
At 5.15 pm, when dusk falls you can scare your friends in the terrifying twilight “Mummy Walk” around Piccadilly Gardens.
