Not a traditional British Christmas Dinner by any stretch but who wants to be boring and traditional anyway?! Not us – so why not bring a bit of the Mediterranean to your Christmas table with La Bandera’s Menu de Navidad. For £25 per person, you get a glass of Cava to start, some appetisers and 5 tapas to share – including their special ‘Christmas Sliders’ with chorizo, goats cheese and apple. I’ve had them – they’re amazing!

Everything in this box from chef Tom Kerridge has been pre-prepared and par-cooked, which means the hard work has been done, so no fuss and stress on the big day. The menu includes canapés, Cumberland sausage rolls, salmon tarts, and a choice of 3 meats – Roast Norfolk Turkey with Cranberry, Chestnut and Sage Stuffing, Beef Wellington or Slow Cooked Shoulder of Cotswold Venison. Followed by Christmas pudding, mice pies and caramelised white chocolate pebbles.
Elite Bistros
Elite Bistros have been smashing out the home deliveries nationwide for a few months now and so they’ve turned their experienced hands to the humble Christmas Dinner, with a choice of Turkey, Beef or Butternut Squash plus all the trimmings for £109 for 2. You’ll get everything for the main plus Potted Mackerel for starter and Christmas Pudding for your afters. There’s also a booze shop on there so you can stock up on the wine and fizz too.

Nothing can beat a meal at Hawksmoor, and the Finest team were lucky enough to have our Christmas party there last year. The best steaks, oysters, lobster, decadent sides and some cracking cocktails – they’ve got everything you could ever desire. Their Hawksmoor at Home service is fantastic – all you need to do is log in and pick what you want from the extensive menu. Sure, there’s no turkey but who wants turkey when you can have the best steak of your life?
Christmas Day at Home @ The Lowry Hotel
Give yourself a true 5* experience with the River Restaurant at The Lowry Hotel because guess what – easy answer – they’re doing Christmas Dinner deliveries this December. It’s £195 for four courses for two people with a bottle of Ayala Champagne, where everything is 80% prerpared and ready to go – all you need to do is finish them off in your oven. The package is available for collection from The Lowry Hotel on Christmas Eve between 12-4pm.
Christmas Day to Take Away at Trof
Creators of probably the best roast dinners in the whole city – Trof have decided to offer up a big juicy olive branch this Christmas by creating the ultimate Christmas Dinner (£35pp) which you can pick up on Christmas Eve between 10am and 4pm. All you need to do is follow the super-easy reheat instructions and you’ll have yourself a cracking 3-course feast without any of the hassle. It also includes a bottle of Prosecco too!
The Ultimate Chop House Christmas
The city’s chop houses are offering up the ‘Ultimate’ Christmas Dinner home service experience this December with 3 courses on offer for just £34.85 per person. You’ll get a proper hearty traditional roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, complete with a Cheshire game terrine for starter and finishing with either Christmas Pudding or a Sherry Trifle like your Nan used to make.
Christmas Roast Prep Special at Thyme Out
The West Didsbury favourite are offering up a Christmas Roast Prep Special where you can get everything you need for a great dinner and all you need to do is heat it up. It can be posted to you for an extra £9.95 or you can pick it up in person from the venue on the 23rd or 24th.

Zouk will deliver a whole organic feast in one box just in time for the big day. It’s packed with everything you need: Option of turkey or leg of lamb, potatoes with coriander & chilli butter, carrots & tender-stem, broccoli with honey cumin & chilli glaze, sprouts & cranberries with chilli infused oil Indian spiced gravy granules. Northern Soul Crimbo Dinner
Totally nothing traditional about this bad boy but who cares when it tastes THIS good? Ignore all the people who want a ‘proper’ Christmas Dinner and serve them up instead a massive Grilled Cheese from Northern Soul – complete with turkey crown, cranberry, pink lady stuffing, pigs in blankets and gravy all over the bloody thing. The Ramsbottom favourite are offering up an ‘At Home’ Christmas Day menu – ready to assemble and warm through in the oven. For £65 per person, you’ll get canapes (and Bucks Fizz), and a choice of starters (including a mega Twice-Baked Blacksticks Blue Cheese Souffle), Turkey with all the trimmings, and a choice of desserts.
Herd NQ
Herd in the Northern Quarter have created an ‘All the Trimmings Hamper Box’ this year where you can take all the stress out of actually preparing the roast dinner yourself and let other people fo it. In it you’ll find pigs in blankets, beef dripping roast potatoes, shallot and cranberry stuffing balls, maple-glazed parsnips, sprouts with bone marrow butter and pancetta, truffle mash potatoes, vintage aged cheddar cauliflower cheese and more. For an extra £45 you can add a Beef Wellington too!
