Whilst on holiday in Spain you’ve most likely spied one of these mad ‘party’ bikes – and now Manchester has its own – taking passengers on a boozy bender through the Northern Quarter on the weekend.

The MCR Party Bike heads into the city centre every Saturday to entertain throngs of party people, carrying up to 10 and operating on a ‘BYOB‘ policy so you can sup your own beers whilst pedalling around the streets of the Northern Quarter.

The bike itself, although pedalled by the 10 people on the side, is operated and steered by a central driver – so you don’t need to worry about getting lost or going the wrong way down a one-way street.

The MCR Party Bike costs £10 per person and you’ll enjoy a leisurely 40-minute loop through the NQ, starting and stopping on Stevenson Square. You can pre-book the experience on their Facebook site between 1pm and 9pm, or just rock up and enjoy.
