A perfect destination for Christmas dining, Don Giovanni has released its extensive festive menu as the colder nights draw in and Manchester begins its famous annual Christmas celebrations.
Served at its iconic restaurant that has sat as part of Oxford Road for almost 40 years, the menu combines Italian flavours with British classics, offering a varied selection with something for everyone.
Diners will get a three-course meal for £39.50 per person when booking the Christmas party menu. There’s no limit on the number of guests able to book, but as you can imagine, the restaurant is already filling up quickly ahead of its launch on Tuesday 22nd November.
Kicking things off, guests can indulge in warming dishes such as Roasted Parsnip and Carrot Soup, Homemade Meatballs cooked in a light cherry tomato sauce with fresh basil and sourdough and a Chicken and Duck Liver Pate served with toasted bread and a homemade chutney.
The main courses feature the likes of a Traditional Turkey Dinner with seasonal veg and sausages stuffed with sage that are then topped with gravy and cranberry jam. Also on the menu is Lasagna, a staple dish for Don Giovanni served with homemade classic bolognese and bechamel sauce topped with mozzarella, basil and fresh tomato.
And no meal is complete without a dessert, so to end the evening, the restaurant has three indulgent options; Tiramisu, Panna Cotta and a Bundino Al Caramelo – toffee sponge in a toffee sauce with crushed walnuts and vanilla ice cream.
The multi-award winning restaurant ensures that all of its dishes are prepared using the freshest seasonal ingredients, sourced locally from Italian and British producers based within Greater Manchester.
