Manchester is set to be entertained by some of the best comedians in the business this Saturday (18 February) as Slim, Kevin J, Andrew Mensah and Sarah Levine take the stage for the return of Lounge All Stars at The Lowry. The lineup promises to deliver a night of laughter, good vibes, and a celebration of comedy talent.

The “undisputed King of the Black British comedy circuit” and one of the UK’s biggest stand up stars, Slim heads up the evening. With a multi award-winning 20-year career, Slim has performed to thousands all over the world, supporting the likes of Kevin Hart.

Joining Slim is Kevin J, another Lounge favourite from Tottenham. His experiences have taken him around the world, with TV and radio appearances on MTV and BBC Radio 1. The Guardian described him as “a refreshing and important comedy voice”.

Andrew Mensah is a relatively new comic, having only begun his comedy career in 2018, but he has already gained plaudits and was recently crowned winner of The Cavendish Arms Summer Competition 2019. Alongside his stand-up career, Andrew is also the host of BT Sport’s hit show What I Wore, where he interviews footballers based on their lives and careers. With over 10 million views across all social media platforms, Andrew has been hailed as “one to watch”.

Sarah Levine from Liverpool will bring her act covering the joys and tribulations of being a young(ish) single mum to twins, as well as other family dramas. Having supported Dane Baptiste and Mo Gilligan on their tours, Sarah is sure to have the crowd in stitches.

The energetic and charming Kamilah 5 Star is back again on hosting duties. Kamilah has shared stages with Mo Gilligan, Axel Blake, Kano Ty Logan, Bashy, Chip and has hosted events such as the Red Carpet Sessions at the Mobo Awards.

Last year, we had the pleasure of attending Lounge All Stars and it was an unforgettable night. The line-up of comedians was top-notch and had us in stitches from start to finish. Slim’s honest and relatable humour left the audience in awe. We cannot wait to catch him again this Saturday for what we’re sure will be another ab workout of laughter. We’ll be counting it as one for our gym tally for the week.
