Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is inviting everyone to “Feel Good This Summer” – a delightful series of events aiming to bring joy to both the body and soul and will be hosted at The Refuge’s outdoor terrace space.

Every Saturday through August, the venue will offer a wellness schedule, culminating in the Come As You Are weekender Pride takeover, running from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 August. The line-up promises a summer filled with wellness classes, live music, and an ambiance inspired by Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast.

Feel Good Summer: Meditation & Mindful Art Sessions

In collaboration with Emma of Thorlby Yoga and artist Caroline Dowsett, the hotel is introducing a mindfulness event on Saturday 5 August and Saturday 19 August- starting with a 30-minute guided meditation session by Emma, followed by a creative art workshop led by Caroline. This accessible event is open to all skill levels. Tickets are £45 and available here.

Feel Good Terrace with Malfy Gin

The Refuge’s terrace is transforming into an Italian-inspired paradise, complete with themed cocktails like Malfy Gin-infused slushes and spritzes. A selection of the city’s DJs will provide entertainment every Saturday, creating a lively atmosphere from 2 pm until late.

Manchester Pride and the Return of Come As You Are Weekender

The legendary Come As You Are weekender is making a triumphant return for Manchester Pride. Multi-gold record holder DJ Paulette will headline on Saturday 26 August, offering a blend of uplifting house, funk, and disco. Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy will take the stage on Sunday 27, bringing her lifelong dedication to music as a producer, remixer, and influential figure in the vinyl resurgence.

Throughout the weekend, several DJs will take over the terrace with a rich collection of disco and house tracks, including fresh talent like Jamie Bull and regulars like Jaegerossa, Eve’s Drop Collective, and more. A special Disco Flow Yoga session, hosted by Thorlby Yoga and The Hush Club Disco, adds a unique flair to the festivities on Saturday 26.

Additionally, the hotel is offering the “Stay with Pride” package for those looking to be at the centre of action during Manchester Pride weekend. The package includes a Come as You Are survival kit, cocktails, water bottles, and a £30 voucher for the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel’s Refuge Bar. Rooms for this exclusive weekend package are available from £368.

Tickets for the launch of Come As You Are Weekend on Friday 25 August  are £16.75 and are available here. Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 August activity is free.
