Calling all beauty fans; Sephora has today announced it is set to open a brand-new store in The Trafford Centre next year.
The cult beauty giant has confirmed it will be opening its doors in the Trafford Park mall in the summer. only the brand’s third location in the UK, and their first physical shop outside of London.
Owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, beauty fans in the UK can already get their Sephora fix online and in the capital, but this is the first time those up north will be able to browse in store.
Sephora will bring its exclusive offerings and own-label products to a physical 5,380-square-foot ground floor unit, joining fellow beauty brands Boots, Bath & Body Works and The Body Shop in the shopping mall.
Confirming the news on Instagram, Sephora UK wrote: “You heard correctly — Sephora is coming to the TRAFFORD CENTRE, MANCHESTER.
“Get your shopping baskets ready as we’re on our way up north! More to be revealed soon, see you in 2024…”
Fans have already shared their excitement for the forthcoming opening, one delighted user wrote: ‘NAH THE SCREAM I SCRUMPT ARGHHHHH’ with another adding: ‘Best news ever!! Cant wait 😆’
The French beauty and personal care retailer was founded in Paris in 1970 and has since expanded into the US and UAE markets, where it is a household name.
The brand did have physical shops in the UK up until 2005, but these closed due to ‘urban rents’. In 2023, Sephora’s first UK stores were opened at Westfield Stratford City and Westfield White City in London.
