Rudy’s Pizza is giving away four years worth of free pizza in celebration of Leap Day.
The Manchester-born pizza chain is launching a contest to win one of its ‘Famiglia’ – ‘family’ – cards, of which there are less than 30 in existence.
They’ll be creating a special Leap Day Famiglia card for the occurrence of the once-every-four-years 29 February.
The card will entitle its owner to two free pizzas every week for the next four years, right up to 2028.
In real terms, that’s a total of 416 pizzas, worth about £4000.
To win, pizza fans are being asked to look out for the competition’s official post on the Rudy’s Instagram page, which will go up at 4pm on 29 February.
The contest will be on for 24 hours, with the winners being drawn from those who have commented and tagged on the post. Entries close at 4pm on 1 March, with the winner being announced at 5pm.
Rudy’s first branch opened up on Cutting Room Square in Ancoats back in 2015, serving classic Neapolitan pizza to queues which would snake around the block.
It then opened branches on Peter Street and Portland Street in the city centre, and then Sale, Chorlton, Stockton Heath and Didsbury.
There are now 24 branches nationwide, from Durham to London.
