Founded in 2020 by chef Mary-Ellen McTague with friends Gemma Saunders and Kathleen O’Connor, Eat Well MCR has since provided thousands of meals to vulnerable people in need across Greater Manchester. Over four years later, they’re now asking new and existing venues around the city to help their initiative by getting involved in the Eat Well, Do Good week-long festival this October.
Encompassing a series of events, supper clubs and workshops, the festival will celebrate the extraordinary generosity and talents of the city’s hospitality community whilst raising vital funds for the Eat Well MCR mission. Striving to unite chefs, restaurants and volunteers, hospitality venues already set up to take part in the festival include Ramona, 10 Tib Lane, Great North Pie Co and Where The Light Gets In.
