As the most vile and grumpy human being in the morning, just managing to get something in my mouth is a typically monumental task. Now that Albert’s Schloss have announced a brand new summer breakfast menu though, I suppose I can be sullen and angry about being out of bed over there while scoffing on a range of cracking dishes.
After much donut-debating and poached-egg-pondering the team at Albert’s Schloss have created a list of breakfast dishes that range from the super indulgent, to the super fresh, to the super duper healthy.
Served from 8am Monday to Friday and 9.30am at the weekend, you’ll find Cruffins & Kronuts – baked daily within Schloss’ very own bakery, as well as a range of baked daily specials offered fresh from the oven.
There’s a Super Grain Bowl (poached egg, mixed grains, avocado, pickled carrot, edamame and harissa) which will be perfect if you’re watching your figure or the Broke ’N’ English sandwich (broken egg yolk, treacle cured bacon, mature cheddar, avocado and red chill jam), if you’re not.
There’s a twist on the breakfast classic; Crayfish Benedict – fresh crayfish, poached eggs, crayfish, spinach, toasted muffin and tarragon hollandaise and rounding off the menu will be Roast Peaches of Quark yoghurt, sour cherry, pistachio granola, honey and lime.
Finally, if you fancy yourself a cheeky little perk-me-up in the morning, Schloss will also be serving up Espresso Martini’s from 8am every day and from 9.30am at weekends.
