Each and every Wednesday at Electrik of Chorlton you can find some of the finest record collectors and crate diggers, who are invited down to play whatever they want in entirety with no mixing, headphones, scratching or beat juggling, it’s strictly just about the music.
This Wednesday (22nd May) is no different. Avid vinyl collector and ex Scottish football player, the legendary Pat Nevin is taking over the decks.
His deep-rooted passion for records began in his early childhood. Nevermind football heroes, his bedroom walls were full of pictures of literature gods and musical patrons with the likes of John Peel. Pat even left a professional game he was playing at half time to go to a gig at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
So what are you waiting for? Head down this Wednesday! There is a huge selection of ales, craft beers, ciders and wine, as well as pizzas and paninis to devour while Pat enchants the decks.
