HØL x Sonic
After making significant strides in the Manchester Techno scene in 2023, HØL returns on Friday 12 January 2024 with a two-room stomper event. With a packed line-up, HØL have shown determination to give local artists the opportunity to perform alongside established international acts, whilst aiming to provide an alternative dance floor culture with their no phone camera policy, putting a strong emphasis on the crowd’s comfort, safety and welfare.
Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra present A History of Jungle and Drum & Bass
Following two incredible sold out shows at London’s Southbank Centre earlier this year and a handful of select festival appearances throughout the summer, Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra will perform three brand-new live UK dates in January 2024. Exploring classic anthems in ways never before experienced, the godfathers of the scene alongside The Outlook Orchestra will present a very special score celebrating a history of jungle and drum & bass.

Heatwave
Boogie Nights indeed. The Blues Kitchen plays host to disco legends Heatwave this month. Ruby Turner
Prolific songwriter and talented vocalist Ruby Turner has had an incredible career, including tours with Jools Holland, joining Culture Club, hit singles and working alongside artists including Mick Jagger and Brian Ferry. She plays at The Lowry in Salford this month with a raft of hits in tow.
Ladytron
Ice cold, classic electro-synth-pop from the towering Ladytron, who will land at New Century to have their legion fans test out that vintage sprung dancefloor, as the Liverpool-spawned trio celebrate seven albums and nearly 25 years on the road together.
DjRum
London’s Felix Manuel (aka DjRUM) will be taking over the controls at White Hotel all night long, from 12am to whenever the lights come on again. There will be techno, there will be garage, there will be jungle, breakbeats, electro, rave drops and basslines. All the good stuff, in short.
Joe Goddard
Hot Chip’s production wizard and selector extraordinaire Joe Goddard will be taking on the basement at YES, one of the very best rooms in the city for an intimate rave up that feels like you’ve just stumbled into a house party. With the tunes to match.
Dorian Electra
Rising pop sensation Dorian Electra heads to Manchester’s New Century in January. Making music inspired by 80s funk and 00s pop and that defies gender norms, they have quickly built up a dedicated fan base. Catch Dorian Electra on Saturday 27 January.
Depeche Mode
The legendary Depeche Mode will arrive at the AO Arena, the final stretch of their mammoth Memento Mori tour, their first without linchpin member Andy Fletcher, who we lost in 2022. Expect a set littered with absolute classics, alongside choice selections from Memento Mori, their 15th studio album.
