The Refuge’s iconic New Year’s Eve party returns this year with a riotous celebration, honouring the people of the city in another one of its ‘Come As You Are’ parties.

After missing a year due to COVID-19, 2021’s shindig is expected to be bigger and better than ever, with a stellar lineup of DJs, including DJ Paulette, and a few familiar faces ready to welcome in the new year and champion ‘love and togetherness with a little bit of magic sprinkled on top’.

Paulette began her career in Manchester’s clubbing cultural institution, The Hacienda, and her DJ journey has taken her to the far corners of the dance floor from Ibiza Rocks, to Cocoon and The Ministry of Sound. You can expect a blend of uplifting hip-hop, raw funk and rare grooves mixed with soulful vocals and tearing techno in her record box, a perfect cross genre cocktail for a memorable new year.

Joining DJ Paulette will be Supernature Disco, a DJ collective started back in 2015 by husband and wife duo, Ms BB Queen and Ritchie V.

Now a four piece, the collective have played across Manchester and beyond, with sets at the Warehouse Project, Homobloc, and festivals in Croatia and Scotland. Specialising in disco, funk and house, they’re ready to tear up The Refuge’s main room this December for a cracking New Year’s knees up.

Keeping its focus on togetherness, the Refuge has also announced that this year’s celebrations won’t venture down into the basement, keeping the party an intimate affair across the venue’s main room and dining areas, with anyone who has booked the ‘Dine & Dance’ package able to keep their table and dance all night long.

All ‘Dine & Dance’ tables are now sold out, but you can still book ‘Dance’ only tickets via the link below!
