Christmas at Heaton Park is always a magical affair and this year is no different as it prepares for a completely new festive experience.
From the team behind the popular Christmas at Kew event at the famous Kew Gardens in London, a brand-new light trail and funfair for all the family to enjoy will be popping up at the Bury park.
Promising a festive evening for both adults and kids, the sprawling parkland will be transformed with light installations, colour-changing globes of light, larger-than-life flowers and neon signs.
Made by Culture Creative in collaboration with Sony Music, the trail will be blending both lights and music.
There’s also opportunity to wander through an Insta-worthy laser garden filled with thousands of beams of light and a giant twinkling tunnel – perfect for a festive family photo.
There will also be a fairground village with funfair attractions, rides and seasonal snacks from street food traders, serving up a festive hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.
Christmas at Heaton Park takes place from 1-31 December, from 4.45pm to 10pm (last entry 8pm). Advanced tickets are £18 for adults, £14 for children (aged 3-16) and £69 for a family (2 adults and 2 children).
