British electronic icons Pet Shop Boys will be heading to Manchester next year for a live date at Co-op Live.

Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will be arriving in town on June 9, 2024, with tickets going on pre-sale on Wednesday 8 November, at 9am, for Co-op members.

Tickets then go on general sale on Friday 10 November at 9am.

Tennant and Lowe revealed earlier this year that they were planning to release a new EP, called Lost, in April, alongside the 2023 edition of their Annually book.

It featured tracks originally recorded in 2015 for their album Super, which was mostly composed in Berlin.

Since then, they’ve been busy in the studio, recording their 15th album with producer James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco.

The date is among a raft of new announcements for the new Manchester music venue, which is set to open in the spring.

The biggest indoor arena in the UK, and one of the biggest in Europe, it has also confirmed shows from the likes of Take That, Olivia Rodrigo and Liam Gallagher.

You can head here to become a Co-op member and sign up for pre-sale events.
