Comedy festival Laughterama will be returning to Castlefield Bowl this autumn, with a blazing line-up of comedians on the bill.
Spread over five nights from 4 to 8 September, headliners will include Stewart Lee, Jon Richardson, Sara Pascoe, Taskmaster’s Phil Wang, Dara O’Briain, Simon Amstell and podcaster Joanne McNally.
Also featuring will be Alan Partridge star and poet Tim Key, Reginald D Hunter, Ivo Graham, Jen Brister, Joel Dommett, Sophie Duker, Rob Auton, Rachel Fairburn, Dan Tiernan and Josh Jones.
Among the newcomers and up-and-coming acts will be Lindsey Santoro, Janine Harouni, Jin Hao Li and Louise Young.
Co-founder Will Briggs said: “We’re thrilled to be returning to Castlefield Bowl with our biggest line-up yet. To have some of my all-time favourite acts on the bill alongside some really exciting new talent is a dream.
“The atmosphere is going to be electric and we’re counting down the days till our opening night.”
Fellow co-founder Cass Randolph added: “We can’t wait to get back to Manchester and welcome back our audiences for more amazing shows.
“This will be our third year, and with this year’s incredible line-up we’ll once more hear the laughter ring out across the city.”
After starting in 2022, the festival attracts 10,000 comedy fans to the Castlefield Bowl, with music, craft beer and street food vendors also contributing to the atmosphere.
