Rough C.U.T.S. is an underground ‘rough’ cinema club here in the city, one which operates out of Aatma Attic in the Northern Quarter and have a rather odd pairing of films showing at their events.
Most recently they hosted a “Superior Sequels” double bill, with Terminator 2 followed by Shrek 2 – probably the ONLY time these two films have ever been put together for anything.
Bambi
Not wanting to be outdone by this, their next screening on Saturday 14th May will be called “Let’s Kill Some Fucken Deer” and will consist of Bambi, followed by the subversive thriller The Killing of a Sacred Deer.
Again, it’s a very strange couple of films to pair, but individually they’re brilliant – so surely they should work as a double bill too.
The event starts with the two film screenings, with a post screening discussion and after party once they’re done.

It kicks off at 6pm on Saturday 14th May and the event is ‘pay as you please’ and once again 100% of the profits from donations will be going to support the crisis in Ukraine through the Red Cross.
