Street artist Lei Mei LeMaow and NFT artist Numan have collaborated with schuh, Vans and Prince’s Trust to take part in the next #DoYou LIVE event in Ancoats and the theme is all about community and collaboration.

Taking place this Friday 8th October, this schuh x Vans x Prince’s Trust event will be the perfect opportunity to be inspired by special guests, take part in creative workshops, listen to live music and build you career.

The event will begin with an engaging and inspiring panel discussion, with special guests, Brand Ambassadors, and representatives from The Prince’s Trust.

Manchester Mural Lei-Mai LeMaow & Numan
A creative workshop with Lei-Mai LeMaow and Numan. With a background in graffiti which sparked a natural love for lettering and painting walls, a love for illustration, and a history of working with clothing and footwear, Lei-Mai LeMaow’s work is an unapologetic mixture of medium, modern styles, and techniques.

Lei-Mai is working with NFT artist Numan on a design which is a collaboration of both their artworks and a wall has been built using 120 canvases. Everyone attending the workshops will paint one canvas each and at the end of the day the wall will be complete with the full colour design.

Lei-mai and Numan will also be doing a panel talk before their workshops where Lei-mai will be talking about going from being homeless to a successful freelance artist and Numan will be enlightening everyone on his recent success in the NFT space.

Wild Side with MUD – Manchester Urban Diggers
There will be the opportunity to take part in Natural Sculpture Building! Manchester Urban Diggers (MUD) is a social enterprise that creates places where people can grow food. MUD work across Greater Manchester delivering food growing workshops, hosting family events and setting up projects focused on renovating community gardens and green spaces.

In Session with Larkins
The event will close with a LIVE acoustic set from Manchester alt-pop band, Larkins frontman and guitarist Josh Noble. You’ll have the chance to hear more about the unique details of the band’s journey, the people behind the scenes who helped them along the way and their experience of the music industry in Manchester.
