This Saturday from 11am – 4pm a very special Christmas market is landing in Manchester, and this time humans are an afterthought.

This market is specifically for our favourite furry friends, taking place at Angel Meadow Park with an afternoon full of gifting, games and even a chance to meet the big man.

Manchester is inundated with markets at this time of the year, but no one could be as unique as this, as pooches and their owners will get a chance to browse a wide selection of stalls offering doggy products, home and lifestyle goods, sustainable products, and street food.

Furry friends will have their pick of tasty treats and stylish dog accessories from local companies such as Ruff & Rudy, CitiPup, and Luce and Moon. Whilst pup parents can enjoy a range of homeware, vintage fashion and street food, including authentic Mexican options from El Contador and hot drinks and bakes from The RePause Project.

There will also be the opportunity for dogs to meet Santa and his elves and capture the perfect picture. Pooches should come dressed in their best festive outfit as the man himself will be awarding a prize for the best-dressed pooch.

A free gift will also be given to the first 25 dogs to arrive at the market.

The event has been arranged by Far East Consortium and forms part of its plans to put unsung parts of Manchester city centre to better use under the FOUND event brand.

Free tickets are available below.
