Slice slingers and cocktail shakers Nell’s have announced a series of festive specials and events to kickstart the Christmas season.

The pizza wizards are getting into the holiday spirit with a jam (or dough) packed schedule, complete with live entertainment, karaoke, dog socials and craft workshops on top of their new Christmas menu.

Event highlights include live music every Thursday to Saturday – including an appearance from Urban Soul Choir, who will be playing a set of Christmas hits at Kampus in the city centre on 30 November.

Over at Common in the Northern Quarter, bring your four-legged friends to the Santa Paws Christmas Party with Barkside and treat them to a puppacino on 10 December. Or, enjoy a night of Drag Bingo at the Edge Street spot, in aid of the Coffee4Craig charity on 21 December.

There’s also loads of fun scheduled at Nells’ Chorlton site at The Beagle. A ‘Dungeons and Flagons’ board game social will take place on 21 December, as well as a NYE special with the West Rhythm Club and DJs on 31 December.

Nell’s festive special pies will also be available across all three sites – The BBQ on 34th Street features smoked turkey, ham, green chillis, cranberry BBQ sauce, pickled onion and roquito peppers.

Elsewhere on the limited edition menu is veggie option Christmas Brie, O Christmas Brie, made with brie, pepper, shredded mozzarella, cranberry BBQ sauce and pomegranate seeds. Both Christmas pizzas are available by the slice, 14” or 22”.

Nell’s don’t stop at pizzas though. Fans will be well aware of their delicious ice cream sandwiches, which will also be getting a festive makeover with the Rochin Around The Christmas Tree; Rocher ice cream sandwiched between two vanilla hazelnut cookies, dipped in milk chocolate and covered in hazelnuts.

Head down to Nell’s from 22 November to 2 January to grab a slice of the festive action.
