The word ‘iconic’ gets thrown around plenty these days – but jewellery brand Tiffany & Co can lay a pretty solid claim to it.

Established in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany in New York, and originally a ‘stationery and fancy goods emporium’, it’s straddled generations and transcended fashion trends.

Immortalised in Blake Edwards’ classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s – with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard, and penned by Truman Capote – it even has its own colour.

The instantly-recognisable Tiffany’s signature blue – Pantone name ‘1837 Blue’, after the year it was first used – is now synonymous with the brand.

Warhol created a series of Christmas cards for them in the mid-1950s, and these days, the likes of Lady Gaga and Anya Taylor-Joy collaborate with the brand.

Now it’s arrived in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre, with a swish new concession showing off some of its key ranges.

Tiffany Lock, Tiffany T, Tiffany Knot and Tiffany Hardware will all be on display on the shop’s ground floor, the latter being the bold range inspired by the brand’s home in New York, as well as some of its most beautiful pieces from its extensive archives.

In time for Christmas, you can shop Tiffany & Co at the Trafford Centre now.
