Hosted by your favourite Feel Good gang, their brand new ‘Speed Mate-ing’ night puts a platonic spin on the classic speed-dating format, with the aim to help Manchester locals meet some like-minded people.
Feel Good Club’s purpose has always been about creating connections with people, whether that’s through starting conversations about wellbeing online, hosting events such as spoken word, live music and panel talks, or even just having a quick brew in their Hilton Street venue.
“We have so many people that contact us online or come into the club and talk about the difficulties they’ve found making friends as adults in a busy city, and this has only gotten worse with the impact of the pandemic,” says Aimie, Co-Founder of Feel Good Club.
“So we had the idea to host an event that can be the catalyst for meeting new people and making friends in a relaxed and fun way.”
Starting at 7pm, the event will be kicked off with a glass of bubbly on arrival, before moving into a series of relaxed, group based activities designed to get people chatting.
With 5 quick fire rounds in total, there will be plenty of opportunity to get to know lots of new people before the event wraps up with a final ‘mingle hour’ where you and your new pals can continue the night with an accompanying live DJ from 9pm – 10pm.
If that wasn’t enough, you will also have the opportunity to try Feel Good Club’s new pop-up collaboration with local planted based Ramen vendor, Rainy City, who will be bringing some ramen classics, maki rolls, spicy rolls and their colourful pink gyozas.
