Pressing on with its imminent expansion plans, the founders of 92 Degrees have agreed a deal to launch a brand-new store in Spinningfields in the heart of the city centre.
The team, led by CEO and co-founder Jack Brewitt, is due to open the doors of the new venue in a matter of weeks, as part of the next stage of the brand’s huge nationwide expansion.
This will mark the third Manchester store for 92 Degrees, with popular sites already on John Dobson Street and new residential neighbourhood, Middlewood Locks in Salford. The announcement means that the 92 family, which now consists of more than 100 in-store staff and team leaders, will increase another 10% to 110 with a recruitment plan also already in action.
Speaking to the business desk, Jack said: “Spinningfields is the perfect location for our third site in Manchester and it’s an area that we have been paying close attention to for some time.
“We’ve enjoyed great success at our two other Manchester outlets and the reception we have received over the last 18 months there has been awesome. We are super excited to make our presence known even more so in the city and to get to know our new neighbours and customers.
“It is a brilliant space that really does lend itself to what 92 is all about, and we are looking forward to being able to call it ours.”
92 Degrees began its journey seven years ago with a shop and roastery in Liverpool city centre. The brand recently acquired £1.4 million to accelerate its growth strategy, with plans in place to double its stores every year for the next two, and it’s definitely looking on track to do so!
Once the Spinningfields store opens, guests can expect a menu of own-blend coffees and other hot and cold beverages, alongside pastries, brunch dishes and lunch options.
There’s no confirmed opening date just yet, but keep an eye on the shop’s Instagram for any further updates.
