3 Hands Deli opened its doors back in November 2020 at Deansgate Mews, and the unique space combined the knowledge and expertise of three of Manchester’s most respected foodies!

Julian Pizer, former Executive Chef at Cottonopolis and Edinburgh Castle, Danny Foggo of Holy Grain Sourdough and The Crafty Cheese Man have brought us bespoke bread, amazing cheese and a whole host of delectable and unusual treats.

Now, joining Julian and Danny at brand-new venture, Another Hand is Max Yorke, formerly of Edinburgh Castle and Hispi.

Another Hand will champion everything you love about 3 Hands in a relaxed and inviting space. The new restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner using low-intervention, considered and ethically sourced British produce, all cooked on an open fire.

The food will then be combined with natural wine, craft beer, handcrafted cocktails and coffee sourced from other local, independent businesses.

With over 50 years of combined experience, the owners of Another Hand are delighted to bring the next instalment of their journey along the Deansgate Mews, with this sleek 24 cover restaurant, bar and café, and we can’t bloody wait to try it out for ourselves!

Julian explains: “Our aim isn’t be just another small plate restaurant following the current trend.”

“Our ethos is based purely on giving as many people as much opportunity to enjoy our space whether it’s a quick coffee and a cake, a takeaway toastie for lunch, a formal business lunch through to an after work drink and a nibble to a full tasting menu or 3 course dinner.”

The space will also host intimate dining evenings that will see four guests take their seat at the chef’s table for an immersive blind tasting menu.

This experience will enable Another Hand to use every aspect of each ingredient in the restaurant in the most creative ways, pushing towards their end goal of being a totally zero waste space.

Another Hand will open its doors in the last week of February for Brunch & Lunch, with Dinner service launching the first week of March.
