I’m certainly not a ‘sports’ kind of guy. Anyone who has seen me with my top off will wholeheartedly confirm this (once they finish either laughing or vomiting of course).
But I do know enough to get by. I know all the rules for pretty much every sport ever – mostly because I was a massive SWOT at school but playing them isn’t really something I want to do with my life.
So is watching it. Nothing beats watching a bit of sport with your mates, some food and a fair few pints to wash it all down with.
That’s where Dive NQ will sort you out – they offer, not just all the sport, but also a brilliant Sports Day Platter which comes piled with pulled pork, a generous helping of chilli con carne, a portion of fries, some crispy nachos, a dollop of coleslaw, a juicy corn on the cob, a piece of pitta, Sriracha mayo and a pint. All for £15.
Here’s just some of the things they’ve got coming up…
Cricket
The biggie coming up in the cricket world is England’s tour of the West Indies, which will comprise of 5 One-Day Internationals and 3 T20’s. Taking place throughout the Caribbean, including Barbados, Antigua and St Lucia, Manchester might not be as beautiful and sunny as these places but…err….yeah you’re right – they’re well better than here.

Six Nations Rugby
The rugby Six Nations continues for the next few weeks, and if the predictions of my best friend’s autistic cat are anything to go by – England will be winning everything. The only problem is that my sister’s psychic gerbil is saying that Wales are going to win everything – I just don’t know who to believe.

Boxing
I’ve sort of lost touch with boxing and don’t really know any of the big boys any more. I’m not sure what happened – I think as soon as Tyson turned fat and Barry McGuigan’s face started disappearing into his head – I drifted off. There’s a few decent bouts coming up though that you should be excited about…
