Manchester Food and Drink Festival has announced the return of its sell-out Curry Club as part of this year’s 25th anniversary celebrations, and tickets are now on sale for the special event at £45 per person.
The event will be hosted at the Festival Hub on Cathedral Gardens on Tuesday 20th September from 7pm, and will feature some of the biggest names from the Asian culinary scene who are taking over the Hub for this epic collaboration.
The completely vegetarian feast will be created by some of the most revered names in Asian cuisine, including; Dishoom, The Little Sri Lankan, Aunty Ji’s, Nila’s Burmese Kitchen and Lily’s.
The banquet will feature signature favourites from curry-renowned countries such as India, Burma and Sri Lanka and guests can expect a fun, relaxed evening using the best flavours around, alongside live music and entertainment.
Last year, the event was a resounding success with a sell-out feast featuring live music, entertainment and incredible food from some of the city’s very best Asian restaurants.
The MFDF Curry Club is part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival, which is taking place from the 15th to the 26th of September. As the city comes to life to celebrate its burgeoning foodie scene once again, this definitely isn’t an event you’ll want to miss!
Tickets for the 2022 event include a complimentary welcome drink and a seat at the one-off Asian banquet.
The Curry Club is the first event kicking-off a series of hub takeovers happening throughout the festival. Other programming this year includes the celebrated artisan market, Fire Pit feasting with esteemed chef, Caroline Martins and a demo kitchen that will see top chefs and industry experts come together to share their tips, ideas and knowledge in cookery demos, conversations and debate discussions.
