Fenix has just launched ‘Agora’, its take on the Sunday dinner, just in time for the autumn roast season.
The service will happen every Sunday, giving the classic roast a flavour of Mykonos.
Central to the new menu is a traditional lamb leg ‘en clave’; a whole leg of lamb which is cooked for hours in a clay enclosure and designed for sharing.
The show-stopping lamb, which needs to be ordered at least 24 hours in advance, is then carved tableside and served with a rich lamb sauce.
Also on the menu is a grilled sea bass, roasted on the robata grill, with lime-turmeric dressing and a cauliflower steak with roasted vegetable cream and pickled fennel.
All the Sunday dishes will be served with traditional Greek trimmings including Fenix’s fresh pitas, tzatziki, spicy roasted cabbage and Mykonian Salad.
Elsewhere on the menu will be additional side dishes including baby potatoes with graviera, spicy sweetcorn and pearl oyster mushrooms.
‘Agora’ – which means ‘a gathering place’ in Ancient Greek – happens every Sunday, 12pm to 5pm, at £45 per person.
