Love them, hate them or don’t really care – the cancellation of the Christmas Markets this year was big news in the city – and a major blow for many of the businesses that rely on the footfall and increased visitors to Manchester and the £££ that brings.
For many, the Christmas Markets are a big sign that Christmas has arrived, prompting them to get into the festive spirit, buy some new gloves from the shops and drink copious amounts of mulled wine with their mates.
What are we going to do without them this year?
