Everyone says that their mum’s roast dinner is the best in the world but unfortunately – it’s not. Sure it’s good (when she’s not been on the gin) but it’s nowhere near as good as some of the truly magnificent creations available at the city’s best eateries.
One such Roast Dinner, which has attained almost mythical status over the years due to it’s quality, is at The Refuge. Not a Sunday would go by where this place wasn’t jam-packed with people popping roasties into their gob and getting gravy all over their brand new shirt.

In anticipation of their opening in a few weeks, The Refuge have put together Sunday Roast Meal Kits to enjoy at home. Each kit serves 2 and all you need to do is finish them at home – re-heat and serve.

– Lamb Shawarma Shepherd’s Pie
– Sweet Potato, Spinach & Toasted Almond Pithivier (v)
All come with sides of roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese with garlic and toasted almonds, Vimto braised red cabbage, butter glazed carrots and gravy.
