Are you as excited for Christmas as we are? We’ve been thinking about what to get our loved ones since July, and the thing we’ve decided on his the most stunning cupcakes we’ve ever seen from Hey Little Cupcake – Manchester’s very own baking mavericks.
Available from both the Spinningfieds and Trafford Centre, these little treats are about as festive as it gets, and they make the perfect gift for literally anyone.
There are a few designs to choose from in this year’s collection. First is the Chocolate Log Cupcake which harks back to eating chocolate every morning on the run up to Christmas when you were little.
This is chocolate sponge is filled with a decadent chocolate mousse and is topped with sugar dusted chocolate buttercream and a sweet little holly leaf.
Next is the Chrismas Tree cupcake. No Christmas is complete without a tree and neither is a range of festive cupcakes if you ask us! The chocolate sponge is topped with vanilla buttercream and our bakers have decorated the tree with sugar pearls and a gold star. Adorable.
Jumping on the Instagram hype is the Gingerbread Latte Cupcake which combines the most festive of flavours which leave you feeling all toasty inside. Expect ginger sponge, cinnamon buttercream and cheery little gingerbread to top it off.
This one has to be my favourite both in style and substance. The Salted Caramel Reindeer Cupcake is the cake that returns year after year because it is such a hit – popular amongst big and little kids (and even adults) alike!
His chocolate sponge is filled with gooey salted caramel and topped with chocolate buttercream, pretzel antlers, chocolate button eyes and a shiny red chocolate nose!
Finally, is the White Chocolate Snowman Cupcake. Like Rudolph, our Snowman is a firm favourite at HLC and likes to make his annual appearance. This year, his vanilla sponge is topped with white chocolate buttercream rolled in sugar sprinkles and is one of the most adorable things we have ever cast our eyes on.
Pop in for one of these as a cheeky treat on your way home from work or order a box to make someone smile on the big day. These cupcakes will be available in store up until New Year’s Eve.
