We’ve already fawned excessively over Dokes Pizzeria so I won’t bother explaining just how good these unique pizza beauties actually are. It’s all here in black and white…
A complete re-invention of everything you already know and love about pizzas, Dokes are “Anglo-Saxon” – made using only the very best local, British produce – absolutely splendid creations featuring air-dried duck breast from Trealy Farm in South Wales, Curthwaite Goat’s Curd from Cumbria, truffles from Wiltshire and, a personal favourite – British burrata.
You’ll be just as happy to hear that this week they’ve launched a new lunch deal too – offering up any of their 7 inch ‘pizzettas’, fries, fresh salad and one of their banging homemade dips – all for a tenner!
Available between 12pm and 3pm, Monday – Thursday – this is a mightily impressive bit of lunch, and with it being in Society – you can grab a nice frosty pint of Vocation beer to go with it and head back to the office safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to get anything done for the rest of the day.
