Liverpool-based restaurant group Maray have collaborated with Manchester’s Track Brewery; creating Maray PA, described as “sunshine caught in a can!”
Bright zesty lemon gives way to gentle ebbs of white grape and grapefruit for a truly thirst-quenching Pale Ale and will be available on draft in the restaurant when they open this summer as well as canned and stocked in local bottle shops including Ad Hoc, General Stores, Epicurean and Beermoth.
To celebrate the beer collaboration (and the upcoming opening), Maray will be taking over the kitchen at Track Brewery on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th June serving up three of their most well-loved staple dishes; Hummus, Chermoula & Flatbread, their original recipe Falafel & of course their flagship Disco Cauliflower (they sell 3000 of these per month in Liverpool alone) alongside the beer which will be available on tap all weekend.
Maray is an award-winning restaurant group that started life in Liverpool in the summer of 2014 and their Middle-Eastern-inspired food quickly earned them a die-hard following in the city.
Maray’s three founders; Thomas White, James Bates and Dom Jones, all hailed from various backgrounds within the hospitality industry but shared a joint, fanatic adoration for the Parisian district of Le Marais and it’s from this melting pot of food, drink and culture they drew their inspiration. Their mission at the start of their journey was simply to serve the best Falafel in Liverpool alongside incredible drinks, in the most relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere possible.
Eight years on and the trio have opened two more sites in the city; one in the suburbs of Allerton and another on the UNESCO World Heritage Royal Albert Dock. They launch their much anticipated Manchester restaurant this summer on Lincoln Square.
