To call Burgerism a lockdown success story is a bit of an understatement. They’ve absolutely smashed it this past year and a half – even getting praise from Michelin-starred Head Chef of Mana Simon Martin who proclaimed that they were “Manchester’s Best Burger”.
Operating from their dark kitchen in Salford, they found themselves filling more than 1000 orders per day during lockdown, managing to revolutionise and streamline the entire burger delivery concept – using high-quality ingredients whilst also keeping things simple.
The team behind Burgerism have recently diversified their winning formula into the world of WINGS, launching ‘Wing Dash’ for delivery and now they’ve got themselves a spot at popular urban village Hatch – meaning you can bob down and give these delicious appendages a try.
The chicken wings themselves are 100% British and are brined for 24 hours to ensure maximum flavour and tenderness. They’re then coated in their special signature coating and fried, before being seasoned with one of 6 unique flavours including Piri-Piri, Buffalo, BBQ, Garlic Parm and our favourite – Lemon Pepper.
They also offer up plant-based Cauliflower Bites, which are available coated with any of the flavourings too. The cauliflower is sourced from a family-run farm in Preston, and is brined overnight before being chopped up, fried and then coated in those banging flavours.
Finally – the chips are truly excellent too, prepared fresh every day and topped with chicken salt. They’re the perfect accompaniment to your wings and Cauli Bites – alongside a couple of beers from the nearby ÖL Brewery & Bar in Hatch.
