If you’re one of those people who went to Thailand once you finished university, invariably ending up wearing balloon pants, getting hammered at a full moon party and ‘discovering yourself’ then you’ll know just how important food is over there.
Street Food in particular is massive, so big in fact that all of our most treasured fast food conglomerates have consistently failed to gain a foothold in the food market over there. Most of them have just stopped trying.
Because who would want a soggy Double Cheeseburger for a quid when for about 30p you can get a huge portion of fresh Pad Thai that’s going to be the best you’ve ever tasted?
Nobody.
Opening up just before lockdown, Rosa’s Thai Cafe on Deansgate aims to transport and re-create this passion for street food onto Manchester’s most famous street, and I must say – they do a bloody good job of it.
Well, the good news is that they’re now available on Deliveroo for delivery or Click & Collect from the restaurant.
Their menu is extensive and full of all of the classics you’d expect, plus some of Rosa’s specialities. Their Chicken Green Curry (£11.50) is a particular favourite – especially if you like it spicy!
Head on over to their Deliveroo page to see the menu and get ordering…
