Up-market Italian restaurant Piccolino is inviting guests to get ready to dine as it prepares to reopen on Saturday July 4th.
Bookings for select Piccolino restaurants in Greater Manchester & Cheshire are now open, with the most carefully prepared safety measures and new features in place.
Restaurants confirmed to reopen on July 4th include: Piccolino Caffe Grande in Manchester, and Piccolino Didsbury, Hale, Alderley Edge, Bramhall, Knutsford and Chester.
New alfresco dining spaces inspired by Italy’s piazzas and created by Piccolino’s team of in-house designers and property experts, bring a further taste of the Mediterranean to a number of the premium restaurants, providing the perfect environment in which to soak up long summer evenings.
Reservations are subject to government guidelines, with guest safety the restaurant’s number one priority. Amongst the new measures are:
SAFE DINING – Carefully planned, new dining spaces to allow more distance between guests.
WELLNESS CHECKS – Completed daily for all the restaurant team and guests on arrival. Guests are kindly asked not to visit the restaurant if they are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, however mild. State of the art temperature checking facilities may be used to ensure the safety of all guests and the restaurant team.

HAND SANITISER – Located at entrances and throughout the restaurant, with complimentary bottles on every table. Guests are kindly asked to sanitise their hands upon arrival and before being seated.
NO TOUCH ORDERING – Choose from one of three means of ordering and payment, including through the Club Individual app, an online menu link on the guest’s phone or the restaurant’s new specially coated ’anti-bacterial’ menus.
AT TABLE SERVICE – A flexible at-table level of service to suit all guests’ requirements.
WELCOME | ARRIVAL – A staggered and well-managed booking system has been introduced to ensure there is a safe distance maintained between guests and staff at all times.
INFORMATION HUBS – Safety notices will be posted throughout restaurants and are available to view or download on the Club Individual app and website.
PAYMENT – Guest bills will be presented in a contact-free, sanitised wallet, with a contact free payment method requested wherever possible.
DEPARTURE – Guests are politely requested to ensure social distancing upon leaving the restaurant. Complimentary sanitising towels are available to take away.
CONTACTLESS TAKEAWAY – Designated safe areas for 2GO collections have been created at all restaurants and can offer a fully contactless collection and delivery service. Designated safe areas have also been created for the restaurant’s Deliveroo partners.
TEAM TRAINING – The restaurant team has been re-trained regarding the frequency and method for effective handwashing and about enhanced restaurant cleaning and hygiene protocols.
SUPPLIERS – Special safety arrangements have been agreed with all restaurant partners.
