Multi-disciplinary artist Chunky is presenting his next Pre ‘n’ Tea from home, bringing together music and food with the help of his talented housemates, plus creative chef Sunny Wray, who is getting involved from Barcelona. Viewers will be invited to join in, as Chunky and Sunny cook up a storm in their respective kitchens, accompanied by musical bangers from designer and performance artist Meme Gold and bass music producer Biome.
The Pre ‘n’ Tea will be streamed on MIF’s YouTube channel at 7:30pm on Wednesday and you’ll be able to cook along creating Sunny’s traditional Spanish Paella recipe. Ingredients you’ll need…
4 cups vegetable broth
1½ cups bomba rice (or basmati/arborio if you can’t find it)
¾ cup frozen or fresh peas
1 large tomato (or ½ can of tinned tomatoes)
1 red bell pepper
1 medium onion
1 lemon
5 cloves garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp saffron threads (or 2 tsp ground turmeric)
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp sweet paprika
2 sprigs fresh thyme
Fist of fresh parsley
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
