All the Shapes
All the Shapes has been making ripples on the brunch front for a while now, so it’s probably about time you went to check what all the fuss is about. They serve brunch from Thursday – Monday until 4pm and their menu is extensive. There’s a bit of a Mexican slant on the dishes, such as the excellent Breakfast Tacos – all done with an attention to detail which leaves many city centre establishments in the dust.

The Goods In
Right next to the Heaton Park Met stop you’ll find the fantastic ‘The Goods In’ who host Hulk’s Hoagies – big sexy sarnies that are perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast or brunch. This place is actually from the team behind All The Shapes, so you know you’re in good hands, and there’s enough options here to keep you coming back for months.

Osma
They don’t strictly have a Breakfast or Brunch menu here at Osma, just Lunch and Dinner, but to not include them on any round up of eateries in Prestwich would be criminal. Their Lunch offering starts at 10am though, and the menu features some breakfast options, including porridge, homemade granola and toasted sourdough, plus some fantastic Open Sandwiches too.

Prestwich Social
A relatively new addition to the food and drink scene down in Prestwich and this place gets pretty busy on the weekends – mainly due to an excellent brunch offering, fantastic cocktails and a packed Sunday that features one of the best roasts around. Brunch-wise there’s plenty on offer, from sweet Pancakes to every egg on sourdough you’d ever need. A bit shoutout to their excellent ‘Social Breakfast’ too – one of the best Full English brekkies we’ve had in a long while.

Lupo
A quintessential Italian cafe experience, with superb coffee, outstanding baked goods, cannolo, pizzas, pasta, cakes – everything you can think of really, all done exceptionally well indeed. Well worth the trip up to the Mountheath Trading Estate, you won’t leave empty handed (or hungry).

(Cooper’s) Let’s Fress Deli
This place gets very busy on a Sunday, primarily because of their truly excellent Bagel Special – which is perfect for a spot of brunch back at your house or better yet – in Heaton Park in the sunshiinnee. For just 5 quid you get six fresh AF bagels, plus smoked salmon, cream cheese, chopped herring and egg mayonnaise. Wonderful.

Cuckoo
Famed for their good vibes, little hatch filled with baked goodies and excellent pizzas, Cuckoo also offer up a rather decent brunch offering on the weekends from 10am until 1pm. There’s the classic Full English (plus veggie version), plus Baked Eggs, Beans on Toast and one of the best Cumbrian Sausage Butties in town.

Wine & Wallop
Anyone who’s been to the W&W in Didsbury ot Knutsford will know that you’re in good hands in here when it comes to brekkie and brunch. There’s an excellent selection of dishes on offer, as well as some cracking Brunch cocktails to go alongside your poached eggs, including the handover-destroying Bloody Mary, or the hangover-inducing Pornstar Martini.

The Hideaway Coffee Bar
A decent family-run cafe now and it’s right in the centre of Prestwich, just next to Butterfingers. This place is also licensed, which is handy, meaning you can sip a beer while you tuck into your Bacon Butty. If you’re a fan of the Full English, their ‘Big Breakfast’ is a winner too.
