Located in the grandiose Great Northern Warehouse on Deansgate, Polish restaurant Platzki is once again hosting its Vodka Shot & Pierogi festival this week – which will see guests sample a range of dumplings alongside unique tipples.
On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th October, diners can head to the restaurant to try the traditional homemade Polish dish. There’s no need to book, just pop along and choose from a range of mouth-watering pierogi flavours with plenty of different fillings for everyone to enjoy, including a brand-new vegetarian pierogi.
As well as this, guests will get the chance to enjoy a midweek tipple at the Polish Festival with Platzki’s exciting range of flavoured vodka, including; salted caramel, strawberry, golden black cherry, hazelnut and a delicious cherry-chocolate flavour.
Sittings start from 3pm until the last pierogi is sold out, so be sure to get down early if you want to sample some authentic cuisine.
Platzki Restaurant is a concept created by two food fanatics who took a humble Polish potato pancake and turned it into a taste fest. This then led to the creation of a menu focused on dishes that are based on honest ingredients, injected with a passion for good food.
Its menu has grown to encompass traditional Polish street dishes using fresh and ethically sourced ingredients. Beyond the food, Platzki is also a family that strives to create an intimate, cosy and sociable dining experience.
The Vodka Shot & Pierogi festival runs from 3pm on both Wednesday and Thursday this week.
