Our obsession with bottomless brunch is far from over, with restaurants across the city incorporating everything from pizza to afternoon tea, enjoyed alongside endless glasses of beer and fizz.
Now, the team behind Canto in Ancoats have once again restarted their ‘Tipsy Tapas’ offering, which put a Mediterranean spin on the messy English pastime.
Tipsy Tapas takes place every single Saturday, and guests can expect three traditional tapas dishes alongside 90 minutes of bottomless booze for £38 per person.
The tapas dishes are split into five sections; Nibbles, Meat, Fish, Veg and Desserts. Some of the must-try menu items include; Mushroom Croquettes with black garlic mayo, Classic Italian Beef Meatballs served alongside tomato sauce and parmesan shavings, Salt Cod Fritters with tartar sauce and the obvious selection of Patatas bravas with spiced tomato sauce and aioli.
For those with a sweeter tooth, Canto also offers a Classic Italian Tiramisù, Pastel de Natas, Almond tart and mascarpone mousse and Vegan Chocolate Brownie served with Seville orange chantilly cream.
The bottomless drinks options span lager, house wine, classic fizz, sangria and bellinis – all of which can be enjoyed bottomless for a whole 90 minutes alongside the tapas.
The sister restaurant of King Street’s El Gato Negros tapas, Canto is renowned for serving up fast-paced, exciting Mediterranean-inspired tapas in relaxed neighbourhood environment.
Using fresh produce from local and continental suppliers, the eatery creates small plates especially for savouring and sharing with your nearest and dearest. Each dish reflects Canto’s Mediterranean heritage, drawing on influences from overseas to craft an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of the city.
Canto’s bottomless brunch, Tipsy Tapas takes place from 12pm – 4pm every Saturday in October and 12pm – 2pm every Saturday in November and December.
