A ‘wine mile’ has arrived on King Street - with free glasses of wine and meal offers all summer

Wine aficionados assemble. A ‘wine mile’ has arrived at the bars and restaurants of King Street for the summer.

Every Wednesday, places up and down the famous road will be offering free glasses of wine, including the likes of the Petit Paris deli, Tast Catala and El Gato Negro.

Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay’s Lukcy Cat will be offering their Taste of Japan tasting menu, with an Okinawa Margarita, for £35.

Petit Paris

Though you don’t have to be an expert to get involved, those who take their wine a little more seriously can pick up a scorecard and rate the wines on offer.

Here are all the offers at each venue in full: 

Petit Paris Deli

  • A free 125ml glass of wine with any booking
  • Use ‘WINEMILE’ in the comment when making a reservation

Tast Catala

  • A complimentary small glass of the El Senyal Negre
  • Use ‘WINEMILE’ in the comment when making a reservation
  • Three tapas dishes for £20

El Gato Negro

  • A free glass of wine
  • Use ‘WINEMILE’ in the comment when making a reservation

Black Cat Club

  • A free glass of wine
  • Use ‘WINEMILE’ in the comment when making a reservation

Lucky Cat

  • ‘Taste of Japan’ tasting menu with an ‘Okinawa Margarita’ for just £35.
  • Or a complimentary glass of prosecco when you book the 2 or 3 course Express Lunch menu. Available until 6.30pm.
