Head down to Pollard Yard in Ancoats for a very special event with Eat Well MCR this month. Another Good Thing will celebrate all the good work that Eat Well MCR do in the community, with pop-ups from street food traders, open studios, drinks and music from live DJ sets, all to raise money for the charity’s vital work.
Local legends Metrodome and Industry Plant from Steam Radio will provide the soundtrack, whilst drinks will be on offer as well as food from some of Eat Well MCR’s partners.
As a cornerstone of the Manchester small business community, Pollard Yard is known for its unique maze of shipping containers that house a diverse group of entrepreneurs and startups. On Saturday 13 July, the yard’s businesses will be open to showcase their products and services, ranging from bakeries and beauticians to potteries and print shops.
The culinary experience will be highlighted by two standout local food vendors. Good Things Coffee House will be on-site offering their delicious toasties and baked goods, while Sicilian chef Marleyo will delight guests with authentic sandwiches, salads, parmigiana and more traditional dishes.
There will also be an array of drinks on offer, all aimed at celebrating local entrepreneurship and supporting Eat Well MCR’s vital work. The non-profit organisation is dedicated to providing meals to those in need across Greater Manchester, and a portion of the event’s proceeds will support their vital work.
