South Manchester-based band Brown Wimpenny bring their traditional sound to The Portico Library. The 11-piece folk outfit weave music from the British Isles and beyond, encompassing jigs, reels, hornpipes, drones and choral harmonies. Brown Wimpenny have previously played at Green Man Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival and Northgate Folk Festival and sold-out five Manchester headline shows.
