Community dance party Do One celebrates its fifth birthday at the iconic Niamos in Hulme. To celebrate, they have a very special live performance of Sufi music, Gnawa, by Mohamed Errebbaa. Gnawa was developed by Black Africans from the Sub-Sahara and is a deeply hypnotic trance music rooted in Islamic culture of North Africa. Errebbaa is one of the leading artists of this sound in the UK. He’ll be joined by resident DJs Irfan Rainy, with Golden Lounge Sound System providing the sound.
