Manchester’s go-to destination for health, wellbeing, and pilates The Green Lab has announced it is launching the city’s first infrared pilates studio. The new space located on the first floor will use unseen infrared light that penetrates the skin to heat the body’s core. As the therapeutic infrared light increases core body temperature, your body works to cool itself, and so your heart starts pumping faster and you begin to sweat more, helping to stimulate blood flow.
