MTV’s annual European Music Awards will land in Manchester at Co-op Live in November. It’ll be the first time Manchester has hosted the awards, having been held in Berlin, Paris, London, Rotterdam, Bilbao, Seville, Budapest and more over its 30 year existence.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the nominations with seven nods, whilst Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter have all scored five nominations each. They are closely followed, with four nominations each, by Ayra Starr, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, LISA, plus first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Tyla.
The prestigious awards show will feature performances from artists including Benson Boone, RAYE, Shawn Mendes, Teddy Swims and The Warning. The prestigious ceremony will be hosted by stars of the screen Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Gavin Rossdale, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Laviscount.
