Northern Quarter and Ancoats heroes including Nell’s, Cloudwater and Diecast – as well as a host of local DJs – will be assembling this weekend to usher in the launch of The Castings.
Found in one of the city’s most exciting emerging neighbourhoods Piccadilly East (not our words, the words of the Sunday Times which named it as one of best up-and-coming places to live in the UK), The Castings is in easy wandering distance of Ancoats, New Islington and the Northern Quarter.
The build-to-rent community opened its doors to residents this week, and this weekend will be throwing a party to celebrate.

Kicking off at 5pm on 19 July, pizza legends Nell’s will be providing free pizza (you read that correctly), with drinks from local vendors including Hacien Tequila, Cloudwater and DIECAST.
Meanwhile, turning out the sounds from The Castings’ 21st floor terrace will be Living Room Dance Club’s Ailsa McLaggan and ZÈYLA, fresh from opening up for hip hop icons Slum Village.
The Castings community manager, Dave Evans, said: “We’re really excited to welcome new residents into The Castings. The focus for us has been to create much more than just apartments; it’s an experiential way of living and we can’t wait to host our official launch party where the community can celebrate the neighbourhood’s newest addition.”
