Get ready for a full weekend celebrating some of Manchester’s very best queer talent at Diecast. They’re joining in the Pride festivities with three days of alternative parties to the traditional offerings. Throughout the three day party, expect a diverse line-up of events including clubbing, brunching and a spectacular night session.
The party kicks off on Friday night with a Lil Miss Jackie takeover of Club Leno. Known for their dynamic sets and magnetic stage presence mixing house, disco and pop, expect a buzzing dance floor. They will be joined by celebrated DJ and founder of the Never Becky collective Mix-Stress, alongside WÏLES, who will bring their unique style, fusing electronic beats with queer anthems for an unforgettable audio experience. Mother and Muse of Lil Miss Jackie, Jackie P’s high-energy set will blend classics with contemporary hits, ensuring the crowd keeps moving all night long.
On Saturday 24 August, the celebration continues in the Beer Hall with a Pride special edition of the fabulous Battle Royale Brunch, running from 12pm-3pm. Think Drag Race meets Bottomless meets Gladiators, as the world’s most outrageous Queens do battle. The 90-minute interactive brunch will be hosted by powerhouse vocalist Sam Buttery. The Pride special line-up also includes, Gisele, known for her dynamic performances and stunning vocal range. Harvey Rose brings a fresh twist to classic hits, charming audiences with their musical talent, and Miss Tysie Blaque, Mother of the House of Blaque, captivates with her commanding stage presence.
Sunday’s Ghetto Fabulous Takeover, curated by the one and only Darren Pritchard, showcases the best of Manchester’s queer talent. This event promises a spectacular display of fashion, dance, and music.
