Altrincham’s Stamford Quarter is celebrating the launch of its transformed public square with a huge street party on Saturday 31 August. Join the festivities from 12pm where there will be plenty for both families and friends to enjoy.
In collaboration with local radio station Happy Radio, the party will take over the square with a full line up of local live musicians and DJs, including acclaimed Latino Jazz group Sam Q’s Night Patrol, high energy indie-pop band Parlaiz, local singer songwriter Imogen Paige and Happy Radio DJ Darren Proctor. From 6-8pm, entertainment will then be provided by Nell’s Pizza’s resident DJ, taking the celebrations into the night.
A number of fun family activities will also take place across the day, including a Lane7 pop-up with interactive games, face painting, children’s colouring, back-to-school craft sessions and an appearance from Cbeebies favourite Bluey.
