The Winter Island takeover at Freight Island promises an enchanting experience and holiday magic for all ages. Get into the festive spirit with seasonal food and drink, entertainment, special events and the Twilight Trail. New for this year is a Northern Lights Lounge installation in collaboration with WeRoad, situated on the mezzanine inside Freight Island. Little guests can also enjoy the Visit Santa Experience at the Grotto, in the Plant Room.
Visitors can, of course, indulge in Freight Island’s spectacular food and drink offering, including British Street Food Awards finalist Baldy’s Pies as well as Fuku Express, Formaggi by Lazy Tony’s, Greek Street, German BBQ by Smoking Coal and Oh MY Churros, who will be serving giant handmade churros. The Freight Island Seconds carvery will also feature for Christmas specials, every Sunday throughout December.
Winter Island will also feature world-class entertainment, featuring an 18-piece Christmas House Band playing live jazz covers of all of our favourite Christmas hits, every Friday and Saturday evening through December. Plus, DJ sets throughout the week, including Cherrybomb club nights with a festive twist, soundtracked by Christmas musical hits from Michael Bublé, Mariah Carey and Slade.
